Mead Made Our Way, Not Everyone Else’s
Curmudgeons Honey Mead is a disabled-veteran-owned, family-run meadery in Gatesville, Texas. We make distinctive honey meads, fruit wines and Glühwein with bold flavors, original artwork and one simple standard: if we would not drink it ourselves, we will not sell it to you.
We support local small businesses and source locally whenever it makes sense. We care about what goes into the bottle, how it tastes and whether we are proud to put the Curmudgeons name on it. If a batch does not meet our standard, we would rather dump it than sell you something we do not believe in.
Come by for a tasting, pick up bottles, find us at an event or order online. You do not need to know anything about mead before you walk through the door. We will handle that part.
